PROTIL FER combines with rusted or non oxidised steel and gives within a few minutes a black and stable compound, which perfectly adheres to the metal and isolates it from the aggressiveness of the atmosphere.

PROTIL FER is very economic because you can apply it even on a wet surface avoiding mechanical operations: scrapping off, sandblasting and sanding down...

PROTIL FER resolves all the rust problems (preventive and curative actions). The protective coat is very resistant and it is possible to recover it by most of the different paints.

Instructions for Use

Ø Take away rust scales, dirt and greases.

Ø Pour into a receptacle the necessary quantity of PROTIL FER.

Ø Apply PROTIL FER with a brush, a spray gun or a roller by adding the necessary water (7 % maxi.). The black colour indicates that the reaction is taking place. The different tools must be rinsed in the water.

Ø After 24 hours time, the surface may be painted by PROTIL FER or another coating.

Properties and Safety

Ø Beige creamy liquid.

Ø Registered as non-toxic.

Ø Duration of drying (keep out of dust): 45 minutes.

Ø The dry film resists to 150°C and to rain.

Ø No special dangerous labelling.

Ø Work at a temperature higher than 5°C and keep PROTIL FER out of frost.

Ø Do not pour back the quantity of PROTIL FER that has not been used into the container of origin in order to avoid power loss of the remaining product.

Ø In case of projections on the skin or in the eyes, rinse with water.
